Yi-Fu Chen

Yi-Fu Chen, Ph.D.

Statistician and Data Unit Manager

Dr. Chen is the Statistician and the Data Unit Manager. He oversees data management and analysis of all CFR projects. His research interests are in methodology, mental health and social deviance. He is particularly interested in applying mixture models to studies of adolescent delinquency over the life course and to the relationship between delinquency, parenting, and affiliation with delinquent peers. Dr. Chen received his Ph.D in Sociology, Iowa State University with a minor in Statistics. He has worked for CFR since 2003.
