Anita Brown

Anita Brown, Ph.D.

Associate Director

Dr. Brown is the Associate Director of the Center for Family Research. She directs the day to day operations associated with project management and provides fiscal oversight of all research accounts. Her professional research interests include gene-environment interaction and engagement/informed consent issues with regard to collection of genetic material from community samples. She received an M.S. and Ph.D. from the Department of Child and Family Development at the University of Georgia. Dr. Brown has worked at CFR since 1993.
